    Exchanging Head Panels

I've been thinking about this for awhile now and I can't figure out if this can work or not, now would it be possible to replace a Grand Marquis Head Panel with a Town Car Head Panel from the same year both cars were made? the only thing that I know that will be frustrating will be the hood not synchronizing with the new Head but that can be replaced with a town car hood, would there be anything else that would not work?

I'm pretty sure the TC fenders are taller than the GMQ ones, so you mah have to swap fenders too.

only swappable thing for a grand marquis conversion is if you go to the 88-91 front header and hood, or do a crown victoria conversion...1979-1987 the front header should fit fine, 1988 - 1991 gonna need a hood also. i might be wrong, but i am sure somebody will correct me if i am

I don't know about the header panel idea, but welcome to GMN! We hope to see more posts from you. Interesting color on your car, was it factory or your experiment? Either way, very interesting. You can get lots of great tips and info from other "box" drivers here, so please stick around, I know you'll like it.

Sorry I am not much help, but I drive a 1993, so I know very little about the boxes. I had one for less than 24 hours once, due to a massive gasoline leak that could have gotten me thrown out of my apartment. It was a freebie so I let it go.

the pic on my signature is a Digi experiment that I plan to do o my car in a few weeks, right now its like Charcoal Silver with rust and chips on the hood and the trunk, but the body and doors still look good, i just want a more unique color to the car, people give me a hard time on making this decision because I bought it just recently for $800 and they think it wouldn't be worth to paint it a new color, but after driving it some time, I began to fall in love with the car, so I want to personalize it but this model is very limited to adding accessories.

I would like to find a custom grille for the head to make more like a beast, or something like a Rolls Royce grille but not as expensive. And another thing I wish to have is a set of Cup Holders!

I wanna some day do a Mark VI front end on my car, with the gills and hide-away headlights and pointy marker lights, but retaining the original narrow bumper - now that will be original and cool

Do something similar to that you can easily make cupholders.
