    post-rebuild quirks

Well I just got done fixing the coolant CTS leak and Anabelle is back on the road. There is still a hairline leak of coolant somewhere in that area. I will be taking it back to the shop that welded my intake for a spot weld. (it leaked about 2 teardrops worth) The air intake charge? sensor is now in the intake pipe, and the car seems to bog down from 2k-3k then liftoff after that, but even after the Exploder intakes, 1.7RR and 65mm tb I don't feel a whole lot power. Still gotta put my equal lengths and straight pipe on tho, and new plugs. Could she be running rich with the sensor being moved?

No, but she could be running lean from lack of fuel, after all of those mods. Drive it for a while, and then look at the plugs.

he did an HO cam and injector swap.

You might want to swap the 60mm throttle body back on there just to see if it helps. It should bump the air velocity up a little and help out some with the flat spot.

So yours is basically identical to mine except for the cam then I ended up converting to MAF due to a rich issue that was directly related to the low vacuum condition caused by whatever friggin' camshaft I have. BUT, when it was SD, it would pull like a bear with no noticeable dead spots that I can remember, other than it idled like crap and richer than all hell........

              I'm still running the 60mm TB, I figure stock E7's don't need a 65

that sounds like a vacuum leak if it idles that high. That could definitely cause flat spots.

I found out what it is, the throttle body is sticking open just a tad, because the way they welded on the lever, it doesnt snap back to the stop, but if I touch it, it idles correctly. SO I need a 60mm tb with a townie lever. Anyone got one?

yeah, sticky TB butterfly will do that, actually I sometimes have to have mine open like that cause my IAC sucks hardcore and sticks closed so if a smack with a lugnut pipe wrench don't help I pull the plug and open the TB manually with the stop screw, can you say idle at 400rpms when in gear with A/C and everything electrical on?
