    Update....

    Here is the latest on the '84
    ... Got alot done this weekend, and this week...


    Steering wheel before....


    Steering wheel after!!!
    Still working on the horn button... I am having to put the button back together... It came apart, and has to be epoxied back together.


    The dash is together!!! (Except the ash tray and the trim around the radio... still have to install the new antenna, and get the back speakers hooked up...

          Thanks for the comments... I am just glad that I was able to get the car and save it... The guy i bought it from had sold it to some 16 Y/O guy that started to "butcher" it... but got it repoed, when he didn't pay for it...

          I just won on E-Bay a 1984 Ford Police brochure, which has all the specs, accessories, and options for the LTD.. can't wait for it to get here!



          All the trim parts, repainted and ready to go back in the car....

          Supposed to rain all day tommorow.. I may just go out and get in the car, and shut the doors, and work on it!!! I may put the Amber and red flashing lights on the back deck tommorow....

            lookin good tom!

            1986 lincoln towncar signature series. 5.0 HO with thumper performance ported e7 heads, 1.7 roller rockers, warm air intake, 65mm throttle body, 1/2" intake spacer, ported intakes, 3.73 rear with trac lock, 98-02 front brake conversion, 92-97 rear disc conversion, 1" rear swaybar, 1 3/16" front swaybar, 16" wheels and tires, loud ass stereo system, badass cb, best time to date 15.94 at 87 mph. lots of mods in the works 221.8 rwhp 278 rwt
            2006 Lincoln Town Car Signature. Stock for now
            1989 Ford F-250 4x4 much much more to come, sefi converted so far.
            1986 Toyota pickup with LSC wheels and 225/60/16 tires.
            2008 Hyundai Elantra future Revcon toad
            1987 TriBurner and 1986 Alaska stokers keeping me warm. (and some pesky oil heat)

                Tom hopefully one day soon, you can see it REAL close, when we do some "work" on it.... headers, h pipe, intake, carb, etc etc etc....

                      steering wheel...

                      Well, got the horn button back in today.. it was really hard to get it to snap into the steering wheel.. I was afraid I was going to break the damn thing!!!


                      (Sorry it looks so "purple" the flash on the camera really screwed the color up!)
                      More to show on Monday.. I am off all weekend... hope to get alot done again!
