    the rubber connector fits ... or at least it stretched and fit for me. the inner diameter of the CAI tube is bigger than the throttle body inner diameter. therefore the throttlebody and stuff acts as a restriction but you are getting more air from the filter compared to the stock airbox. it is a mahor improvement over the look of the plastic box under the hood....plus cheaper than buying a new filter when old when gets dirty.

    91 LTD.........where did you get your cap plugs for the tube???

      My solution was to buy some 3" exhaust tubing and a conical air filter, and stab the whole affair into the stock intake elbow. Cheap, easy, and worked great.

          Actually that stock airbox is not a restriction at all. 88grandmarq did some dyno pulls on his car with and without the airbox, and it produced no change in power. The stock design flows fine, its just ugly as hell and right in the way.
