Well, since there isnt one actually made for this car, you gotta make your own/modify an existing CAI. All the info you are looking for should be found right here http://www.grandmarq.net/vb/showthread.php?t=12495 I used a Injen CAI off a late 80's Acura Integra, and modified it to work on a vic.

Do you still have the stock TB on it, or did you switch to a Mustang unit? If you have the Mustang TB, try your second or third pass without the CAI tube in place(that way you have a prior baseline), to be entirely honest, the tube looks way too small in diameter, not to mention the filter is tiny...you might pick up some time there...

as long as the tube is at least as large as the TB diameter there is no problem....

Inner diameter of the intake tube is 2 3/4", Inner diameter of the T.B is around 2.5", and outer Diameter is 3". I think the tube is big enough to supply more than enough air to a basically stock engine. The pic with the blue valvecovers are from my old crown vic, It still had the Lopo Tb on it. I have the intake on my new car with a mustang Tb. Still have to box it in to isolate the intake source from the rest of the engine bay. I've yet to run the car with anything but the stock intake system in place. Going to the track on sunday, and plan to whip up a temporary cardboard box to isolate the filter. Its just got the filter that came with the intake when I bought it off my friend, just havnt bought a new, larger one yet. heres where it sits now.

Your intake tube is acting as a restrictor, regardless. At WOT there is an increased pressure drop across the intake because the throttle body is larger.

I would like to see some flow-bench numbers on the long intakes versus the short 'wide' airbox. The stock airbox is much larger in diameter (and shorter). The long intakes are narrower which means the air is sucked through a much longer path...

If you haven't modified your engine, you're wasting your time with a CAI. Even on a HO motor it did not improve HP on the dyno. Eric S. has results.

I converted it to mass air because I thought it was a computer issue.

oh, CAI...I was gonna say go to Langley, VA
                          to GMN!

yea, you'd have to fab one up.
to make it real affective, you'd have to do what 91LTDproject did and make an opening where that resevoir is.
you could move it completely as well.
or even cut into the bottom and have the filter suck in the air from below...that would work as well.

here's an example of another really good CAI system...very nicely done.
but you might notice that the resevoir is moved as well.
                          hope this helps mang.

I dunno, I went to the track sunday, and acheived a better 1/4 mile time with the CAI intake tube in place than with the stock box and a k&n filter. Guess the only true way to tell would be to do some dyno pulls and check out the differences.
