    Steel Braided Hoses

for the Radiator...should I get them?
is there any real benfit with them?
I imagine they are a little better since they wouldn't expend like rubber hoses.

I'm still not sure if I really want them...but I'll let you guys decide for me.

unless you are going to have AN fittings brazed onto your water neck and radiator, you can use true braided hose, you can still use the braided sleeve over your rubber/silicone hose though.

I got my silicone upper out of the junkyard, the lower had been cut so they could drain the coolant. I even got an almost complete set of silicone hoses for the 97 from the junkyard also

The stainless has a neat look, but from what I've been told its a bit of a pain in the ass to keep clean. It looks good on a minimalistic engine compartment, but on a car with all the accessories and stuff, its a bit overkill. I halfway thought about it, but to pull it off, I'd need to braid a sh*tload of lines, all the AC hoses, bypass hoses, heater core lines, etc, and then it would end up looking tacky because theres too much braid in the engine bay and funky because they'd probably always be dirty since I drive the car all the time. So yeah, I have plain black rubber hoses
