Trust them on the degreasing man.. I was scared to myself. But i did hehe. Also. if your not going to degrease it at least go get some cardboard somewhere and. Place it under there to see where it might be leaking from

If you dont want to do that maybey get a flash light and look all over the place? My valve cover gaskets looked like they where leaking when i got them. Turned out was just old ass oil... Degreased them, it never came back.. O yea. and tightned them down just a tad as well.
