I need some help here guys - what accessory brackets carry over from a 302 to a 351? I found a complete 351 car but its in another state and I don't want the guy taking off useless parts and wasting his time. I am going to keep the AC & smog just in case.

The AC brackets are different, thats really about it. I'm actually not 100% sure on this, but I think the actual bracket around the AC compressor might be the same, but the plate between the compressor and water pump that has the tensioner is probably the only different part. Unsure about the smog pump, nobody else has one lol.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).

Almost everything is different, bracing, etc. I have a complete 351W CV bracket setup buried somewhere out in the garage that I was going to use....not available right now, I still might use them, 351W CV's are hard to find out here on a regular basis.Comment
