I ran a KOER (Key On Engine Running) test on the '88 today to try and discover the part throttle miss it has. I got the following codes
12 - Cannot control RPM during engine running self-test high RPM check
94 - Secondary air injection system inoperative (left side)
44 - Secondary air injection system inoperative - right side
34 - Insufficient EGR flow/Excessive exhaust back pressure; or EVP voltage above closed limit(SONIC)/PFE sensor voltage high or out of range
74 - Brake On/Off circuit failure - not actuated during test
The 74 is probably because I didn't push the brakes like the book said before the testing began. The rest I'm pretty clueless on. The 44 and 94 means to me that I can remove the smog stuff because it isn't working anyway. The 34 we've discussed before, but I'm still not sure what to do about it. The 12 I'm not sure either.
So my main concerns are the 34 and 12. What do I need to do about them?
