This might be my guide for re-working the headers. ITs meant for a full size bronco but same idea.

Nice!!!!! How old are those BBK headers? I just got ceramic coated BBKs for the CV and I would like to have an idea how long they will remain pretty. I know there is header polish out there, but I was wondering how long they will stay bright without polishing.

Not sure how old they are, I bought them used about 2 months ago. I media blaster the other one and the pair is getting some high temp black paint.

Opposite side has tons more clearance, still tight by the collector though.

            I like, I like!
I'll have to get pics like those when my headers are on.
but alas, I have no camera to take pics with :nonono:

Between the right plugs and some 90* spark plug wires I should be fine and dandy.

There are special headers to get you clearance on P heads. Might just be worth it to buy a set vs all the cutting and splicing on the BBK headers.

Damn Mike, thats a sweet deal on the FMS headers... Time to bid there.

I had read that the BBK headers had enough clearance, even saw some picture of it being run on other cars but I'd rather get the FMS pair if I can.

Anybody in the market for some BBK shorties?

how much? I have a feelin I might not be able to get the headers off my car due to the cheap ass design. Cant get any sort of wrench or socket on the bolts. So I think the open end wrenches are just gonna round off the bolt heads.
