    Fuel Inlet Fitting ^^%@^&* Broke

What I believe is the fuel inlet fitting, [where the fuel filter screws into] broke off at the carb. I don't have stock VV carb, I have a Holley carb, don't know model off the top of my head. But I was tightening the filter and I guess I went way to tight, even though it didn't feel like it, and it broke off right at the carb and there is no way I can think of getting it out. What would be a good way to get this out? I think it would be pretty gay to have it towed in somewhere to have a shop remove it and replace a $1 part if even that much.

And on top of this earlier today, I fucking wacked myself in the thumb hard as hell with a hammer while working on my uncles house.

Wow man, wtf is that thing made out of? I have a steel fitting in my Holley, tightened the everliving crap outta it and I can still yank it out if I need to. My hose fitting is a brass one and screws into the steel one, and I run an external fuel filter, so I never have the need to remove the fittings.

On yer question, pull the fuel bowl out, then try tapping the inside surface of the fitting that broke off, it will either cut a nice thread, or the tap will get stuck and pull the fitting when you try to back it out. If you do manage to do a clean tap install a regular barb-hose fitting in it and run external fuel filter.

I'd use a screwdriver or easy out...
