Well, I replaced the alternator, and now back to my real problem. I have a miss. And i don't think it's timing. It's at idle and a certain rpm. he car shakes. A if no fuel. So what I am wondering is, how do I check a fuel injector to see if it's receiving voltage? And Can i just use that marvel mystery oil in the tank and it'll clean it out? How long will it take to see results? And is it okay to use used fuel injectors? Also, if I have to replace one/all of them, where's the best place, with a good price to get them at? Please give me suggestions. I am in need of help.

to test an injector unplug it and see if the RPMs drop at all.
I'd just run some decent injector cleaner through it for a few tanks. Many of us has stock injectors in fine condition if you need any.Builder/Owner of Badass Panther Wagons

if you absolutely need new injectors...
5.0 Fuel Injector Sets
that's where I got mine. Seems they've gone up in price since then, but they work great. Half the price of regular parts houses.
But like lincolnmania says, make sure all those ignition parts are good before starting anywhere else. I'd even add a new distributor and TFI module, but that's just me, because I replaced those on both my wagon and truck, and they made a world of difference like you would not believe. Took my 6 cyl F-250 from a dieseling, backfiring, no power dog to a get up and go screaming banshee that surprised the living crap outta me.1987 Country Squire LX Wagon 5.0L: Daily Ride......1964 Lincoln Continental 430ci: Toy #1.

Okay. I'll give it a tune up, but if it's not that, and it is a dirty injector, can I still run that injector cleaner through the system with the new fuel filter. I mean won't the gunk in the gas tank mess it up?

injector cleaner won't hurt the filter. If there was any junk in the tank already, it would be picked up whether or not you put injector cleaner in.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).
