I don't get the Lokar kit, or how it works at all.
My understanding of it is that it attached to the end of the throttle lever on the carb, opposite of the throttle lever. AKA, the throttle cable is attached on top, then you have the center pivoting point, and then you have the Lokar tranny "kickdown" cable.
My problem is the following: on my car, the more gas you give it, the more the TV rod goes back towards the firewall. The TV rod is being pulled towards the firewall. On the Lokar kit, it would go the opposite way, AKA the throttle would be pulling back towards the firewall and the TV cable would be going the opposite way, towards the front of the car.
How can that work?
