Its mostly when people just stuff a vacuum hose into the can of seafoam and it sucks it in real fast that there is a problem. As long as the engine didn't suddenly stop, its fine. Last engine I did that was hydrolocked mushroomed the valves and shot the center insulator out of the spark plug. Piston rings snapped and gouged the hell out of the bore too. We sent it back as a core and installed a reman.
