    5.8 sensor Identification ?

    Looking to identify this sensor right above the thermostat on a 5.8 engine. I was doing the thermostat and went to unplugged this sensor and it disintegrated. Is this the Temperature Sender ?

    Certainly looks like it. I'd do a search, on Rockauto, to see some photos to help verify.

      2 wire is generally engine coolant temp sensor for the ECM, 1 wire is for the gauge or idiot light
