    Before the first test that you perform the scanner should be on the hold position. When you turn the ignition on (whether or not you start the car) then you go over to the scanner and flip it to the test position. Before each test that you peform, it should be in the hold position.

      It is 43* today and raining; so the weather is perfect for any engine problems to appear. My ma's CV started right up and kept a smooth idle without stalling. I think I solved the stalling problem. *end of thread, I think*

        Good to hear that it's fixed. I am having thoughts about my own PCV hose. Had to rig one up with hose and elbows. I think I hear vacuum. Wonderful! Another trip under the plenum!!!!!!!!!!!!
