    Hey mang';s what type of fuel filters are you guys useing? :-D And who/where did you get yours from?


    And can are cars use inline fuel filters?

    last one i bought was Puralator from advance auto, and the stock fuel filter is an inline filter.

          I'm running one of those goofy Spectre see-through filters on the '87, just because it was the cheapest way to get everything hard-plumbed from the mechanical fuel pump. Fancy performance fuel filters are EXPENSIVE!

          The '79 is just running a Deutsche filter from AutoZone.

            Im just wanting something with less constricion to the flow of the fuel..
            Looks like ima go with purolator :-D


            Im useing a naper one atm.. And i think it's working to good. buuut im not 100% sure on this.. I will get back with you all though ;-)

              Purolator is the company that invented filters for engines way back when... Also, a regular inline should not be used if you have fuel injection... it will not handle the pressure and come apart....

                      i use whatever advance gives me like 7 bucks 4 one........change that fuel filter every yr!

                      1986 lincoln towncar signature series. 5.0 HO with thumper performance ported e7 heads, 1.7 roller rockers, warm air intake, 65mm throttle body, 1/2" intake spacer, ported intakes, 3.73 rear with trac lock, 98-02 front brake conversion, 92-97 rear disc conversion, 1" rear swaybar, 1 3/16" front swaybar, 16" wheels and tires, loud ass stereo system, badass cb, best time to date 15.94 at 87 mph. lots of mods in the works 221.8 rwhp 278 rwt
                      2006 Lincoln Town Car Signature. Stock for now
                      1989 Ford F-250 4x4 much much more to come, sefi converted so far.
