Towncars never got a 2.73 as far as I'm aware. 3.08 was standard, 3.27 for the Cartier and some Signatures. 3.55 for tow package cars. Same driveline, more weight in a TC. Also, even new, some were fast, some sucked, and by now after 20 years the range of 'rocks' to 'sucks' as far as performance is pretty wide.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).
