    how do you disconnect tranny quick disconnect fittings

    Hey mangs I need to know is there a special tool to disconnect the tranny quick disconnect fittings I would like to get this fixed before I drive to richmond. thanks mangs

    Remember the disconects I had for the fuel lines? same thing but smaller. I bought that kit at advance for like 5 bucks

      Fuel fitting may actually work as well depending on size and type.

        ever notice the irony in how the "quick disconnect" fittings are slower to take off than a hose and clamp.? AND you need a special tool for it.

          Oh hell no. Once I got the tool it takes seconds to pull a line. I won't do that shit again without it, and I've done enough tranny swapping to know.

            what are the steps to putting the new fittings on do I have to get new o rings?

              Buy a new one, thread it into the tranny (or radiator) and push the line into the new one till you feel it click in. Done.
