I think the problem with the search feature is that tech threads are still not getting properly labeled. I have no problem searching for my own threads, and I can usually find other peoples threads too.

I got done with the tune up. She runs smooth as silk. It was really easy except the passenger side plugs are a bitch to get to. It would be a 50/50 chance she would turn over the tires but now she will burnout forever. It did have a tune up sometime in its life as the plugs were autolites and the wires werent fomoco. The plugs were shot though.

Anyway once you find things, these things are pretty self explanitory.

87 I haven't come across one yet, but I haven't cleaned the interior out yet. That is for tomorrow, I will yet you know if I find one.

i usually take the a/c and smog pump out to have less drag on the engine. the waggin' has been retro-fitted so it can be recharged. you can take out the smog pump and get a shorter belt if you wanted to run the a/c. if you take the smog and a/c out it opens up lots of room on that side of the engine. it can be a pain taking it all out, but the extra room is nice to have.

Yeah, I took the AC and smog pump out of the CV and the passenger side of teh engine is SO much easier to get at now. It really isn't too bad to get all that stuff out; it's just time consuming. Take a gander at my CarDomain pix to see the difference.

Now, if the AC still works in that car, I'd just leave it in. But as soon as it leaks out, well, you just have an excuse.

What's your source for that info? It'd be fun to look up my cars, just for kicks.
