Last weekend i discoverd that my car has the 351 fireing order,, bit as far as i know the engine has never been modifiyed , is that a canadian thing or somthing or do you think someone has put a differnt cam in somewhere along the lines??

did it have a roller cam when you pulled the intake off?

im not sure, i never relly looked,, i dont know if you can tell by this picture, probley not since you cant relly see the lifters, i know when i went to change the timming chain a while back it alredy had a brand new doubble rollar one in it and i also think the heads have been redone or are new beacuse they are spotless under the valve covers, no sludge at all

i pulled the insulation off the hood since it kept falling down when ever i opend the hood and found a nother build sheet up under there, and engine info says this, im not sure what the codes are but dose anyone know how to read um? and if you do dose it show any special order from the factory or any thing?

Probably someone swapped the cam at some point. No other reason I know of to have the 351 firing order on a 302. Its a good thing though, less bearing wear with that cam. And that is not a roller cam. If it was, you'd have a stamped sheet metal spider thing in the lifter galley holding down the lifter retainers. Flat tappet engines do not have that.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).
