    Engine Balance question.

    Guys I'm having a brain fart. Can anyone tell me what balance/imbalance weight is on a EFI 5.8L and the Explorer 5.0L?

    I believe the Explorer is a 50 oz. like all the other HO's correct?

    Is the EFI 351W 28 oz or 50 oz?

    I considering running a ZF 5spd behind a Explorer V8. I've got the 5.8L flywheel. I just need to know the weights of the two engines so I know if I need to buy a new flywheel.

      Ones a 90 the other a 91. Did they change them?

              You should check the number of teeth on the flywheel the 351 last I knew of had a bigger clutch and flywheel.

                The flywheel is a 164T.

                Am I correct about the Explorer 5.0L being 50 oz.?
