So, I got the gaskets that I ordered from the Ford dealership on Friday today. Low and behold, one is wrong. Suprised, no. Pissed off, yes. I ordered all the gaskets for an 88 MK VII, made sure it was the H.O. Well the order form with the parts #'s on it had E7 beside the two main gaskets. The tb gasket had E7 stamped on it, while the EGR one had E6 stamped on it, a stock vic gasket. Well after fighting with ford on the phone, they faxed our parts department a blown up diagram of an entire H.O with all the gaskets shown with parts numbers. Well the numbers on the diagram didnt match and of the gaskets or the order form. Now back on the phone with ford, and the chick tries to tell me that the Mk VII takes the 50mm gasket and is totally different from the mustang Intake. well, I couldnt take any more stupidiy so I let the parts guy sort it out, and I'm supposed to get the proper one in tommorow. Fuck. all this over a gasket.

Fel Pro 72543 for the upper intake to EGR spacer gasket

Fel Pro 70262 for the throttle body to EGR spacer gasket.

The pair of them should cost about $10. I can't believe how difficult it is to get this crap sometimes. I just found those two numbers by going to partsamerica.com and punching up 'throttle body gasket' for a 1988 Mark VII LSC.
