pedal to the metal when adjusting tv cable?

I am wondering if flooring the pedal in my car right now is a bad idea. By simply driving it at 35-40miles per hour for about 10 miles something went "POOF, GIRGLE, GIRGLE" and now the fumes fill the car when running. I'm afraid if I floor it in park, what ever went "POOF!" with go "KABOOM!"

I already know I will have to use a stick to hold the pedal because the fumes will kill a person inside. I got dizzy after sitting 10 minutes in idle and my tummy started to swirl .

    What do ya think?

    Thanks,

So you want to set up the t.v cable? Kinda confused. you dont set it up with the car running cause you gotta floor it to set up the cable. check out the sticky thread at the top of the 5.0/5.8 tech forum about adjusting t.v cable up. works like a dream. as for the noise and the fumes, sounds like exhaust to me, theres not really anything else that would get into the cabin and make you sick.

Look at the EGR tube where it passes close to the climate fan. Sometimes it rusts out and slowly melt a whole in the plastic and then starts exhausting directly into the interior. It's over on the passanger side of the engine. Just above the axhast manifold near the firewall. DO NOT DRIVE WITH EXHAUST IN THE CAR!!! You can easily die. If you get carbon monoxide poisening you will pass out, and crash. This does not sound related to the TV.

Might have lost a chunk of the exhaust system maybe. And yes, fumes are completely not related to the TV pressure setting. And that should not be set with the engine running. Holding it wide open with the transmission out of gear is a really good way to blow it up in a hurry.
