Well i was hoping not to have to start any more treads on the tech part unless it was a write up... But any how

So the other day when i went on my trip My car did great. Got really good gas millage to only took a little over a quarter of a tank of gas 70 milles one way. Any how.

When i got back i noticed a ticking sound/rolling sound... Almost souded like powersterring pump.. Came from around the front drivers side tire area.. I poped the hood and coldent tell what was making this Aquard sound,

Any one know what it might be? I cant find it! )

If i wernt so much like my grandfather this woldent even bother me.. But he allways bought a new crown vic every other year, and if it made a single sound he traded it in right then... ( He hated sounds to. )

So any how.Yea Any knowlage of what to look for would help :-D

If I were you I would try to get a piece of dowel or something and put one end of it in your ear and hold the other end against the engine. It'll transfer the noise to your ear so you can localize the sound. Find out for sure where the noise is coming from, and then we'll be able to help you more effectively.

Put it in gear and see if it goes away. If it does, its an apparently common and harmless AOD noise. Ignore it.
