    Flooding out.?

    Hey mang's i noticed now that my car sometimes will, And this is sorta rare. but it will stall out when going in reverse and then when i try to turn her back over. Shes flooded. What will cause this?

    Probably related to the choke problem. Fix that first.

        in theory they shouldn't now that I think about it. No air door to cut off airflow. Usually thats what happens with a carb with a choke problem, the air door jams shut and it just sucks fuel into the motor.

          Humm, well ill tell you more on what it does.


          Umm, this happend 3 times so far. I think it has something to do with the timing. Any how, ill be in park go to drive or r. and she will stall go back to park try to turn over. and she dosent want to turn. like shes loaded up or flooded.

          Agine i think timing might be off a fuz.

            get a timing light and set it properly, then stop messing with it. 10 degrees btdc with the spout unplugged. set it and forget it.
