    How to install new isc air by pass solonid

    Well I got my new air by pass solinoid today dam lady at advance does'nt know shit anyway what's the proper way to intall it? I remember jeremy saying something about disconnectiong the battery to clear the codes if so How do I do that? Will my shop manual tell me the proper way to install? any info would be great thanks mangs

    2 bolts hold it on there. Unplug it, remove the 2 bolts, remove the old gasket, and re-install. Not much involved with replacing it. If you want to clear the ECM to make sure it re-learns how to operate the idle control motor, unhook the battery and turn on some electrical device to drain it. Open door, step on the brake, whatever. Doesn't really matter as long as you turn something on to be sure its drained down.
