    429 in a panther?

hey guys I was talking to my guy at Advance Auto tonight and he said he can get me a rebuilt 429 motor for about $1600 bux. I thought that sounded pretty good! Whats involved with stuffing one in a panther. I'm thinking 510 lift cam, 750cfm carb for 400whp or something, is that combo close to what i need? I want something streetable for daily driving, but with some decent power like that. I know that sounds like an oxymoron, I have a 1988 Merkur Scorpio on the way soon for a daily driver if Anabelle gets too fast. It would be nice to someday pull away from a new Mustang GT 6 speed

I got a 429 for sale cheaper than that. Plus, it comes with a car if you want it! $500 and it's yours, a '71 Marquis with a very nice running 429 with 98K pampered miles. Buy it!
