I travel about 160 miles a day in my 91 CV with 92 HO motor. Its not missed a beat since March when HO was installed. Coming home the other day it stumbled on me a little kind of like I was getting ready to run out of gas. I changed fuel filter and it was ok a couple days then the stumble came back. Not very often but a couple times it stalled enough I started to pull over and it restarted itself and ran ok rest of way. Shitty gas? Fuel pump? And isnt there like a something in distributor that send signal to EEC? What do you guys think?

The car quit altogether this morning. I checked and it had fuel pressure.at the rail but it still wouldnt start. After it cooled down some it started right up and I drove it 30 miles home & it only sputtered a few times. Im thinking TFI module also.

Yeah sounds like the module is getting heatstroke. Change it before it dies on you.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).

I usually get gas at the Lying J, but when I'm in PA I try to get gas at Hess whenever possible. If i'm low and not near either one, I'll stop wherever is convenient though, but I do attempt to avoid Sunoco in the car as it consistanly runs like shit on Sunoco gas and gets about 2-3 mpg less for unknown reasons.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).
