Will the GMGT be a road-race car or just a street/strip car? I take the 351C if your still going to use it for road-racing as it will handle alot better and be faster on a road course or autocross plus its a 71 4v.
Current rides - 1991 Ford Thunderbird 3.8 v6 (gas saver/DD) - New Heads/Headgaskets with ARP studs, Air Silencer Delete, 70mm MAF, Plasti-dipped Matte Black with a Silver Metalflake Overlay, Muffler Delete, some LED's, 30.233 MPG for high MPG average!
2006 Jeep Wrangler 4WD (fun vehicle/backup DD) - 4.0/6spd - too many mods to list.

    Associated Panthers:
    Father's 1994 Ford Crown Victoria - Stock, 45,000 miles.
Sold in 2007 - 1987 Mercury Grand Marquis LS "Grandpa Special" 2 door.

The 460/514 would have a lot more low end torque then the 4V Cleveland. So it may add some weight to the front but it'll pull a lot harder coming out of the turns. The Cleveland 4V ports are so huge you really need to wind it up to hit the powerband.

Obviously my vote goes to the big block...if I can get a 4500-lb LTD II to run 13.7s, anyone can.

And I've already told Tommy boy how I'd go about fitting it into a Panther, if he chose to listen...

That's not what you were telling me a couple days ago :smirk:

And Pat, of course I listened! I even tried getting a torino mount and a panther mount back when I worked at the auto parts store, back in the day...
