Had the feeling that my rebuilt tranny was close to perfect but not quite there. Shifts were positive and where they should be, in 2nd you can really feel the pull, etc., but... so I Added some K & W TransX stop leak and I dunno if it was the extra fluid (28 oz.) or the TransX itself but it made a difference immediately. Now shifts are positive yet super smooth. Its wierd it just made the tranny work that much better instantly.

I used a bottle of TransX to fix the mushy shifts in my Dakota. Well, that and setting the kickdown linkage as tight as it would go. Between those two it shifted like brand new again.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).

The rebuilt tranny shifted great, super positive shifts and you can just feel that its a strong tranny when it popped into 2nd and started pulling, got the tv adj. by a tranny tech. w/ a guage and my mech. was surprised by how the tv pressure readings were. But now its just so much smoother that its not funny. This could be a wonder product for box owners given our relationships w/ our trannys.

Cool, I might grab a bottle to keep my trans nice and happy. Who knows maybe the trans will shift better even with my Trans Go HP kit.

Im getting ready to change my tranny. Shift good but when it gets warm it slips on the OD shift. Band is shot.1989 Grand Marquis LS
