    Ideas?

Hey mang's i was woundering if any of you got some sujestions for me, to pacth my holes on my Exsaust. Im wanting to go get work done on it. along with my brakes. But with them holes in front of the trany. i dont want to risk frying it..

Ideas ive had. Buy two cans of potted meat/beany wheenys or something. and cut the other end off and strap them onover the whole... But im not sure how i shoulde keep them on there... U bolts would be to strong for it i belive..

Do you guys think JB Weld would work fine? or mabey Some Heat rest. Gasket maker?

    Input needed :-P

    Thanks mangs, :-D

My suggestion is to just get some new pipes.

I've used JB Weld on small holes, it smells like a load of burning cow patties, but it worked.

The beanie weinies... no. It would rattle and still leak. No gasket maker either.

They make patches for exhaust holes, but they never hold up very long in my experience.

If the holes are small enough, you could weld them shut as long as the pipe isn't junk.

Yeah, it would last 70 miles. But anything over 500 miles and they leak again.

2.25" on a stock motor is all you need. 2.5" is ok, anything bigger is just a waste. Tails would be impossible to have made and it would cost a crapload. Just hang new exhaust on the car. Don't play around with patchrigging it to last 100 miles or so, just fix it right and get it done with.

If you replace the exhaust, this wont be a concern anyway. Just fix it and be done with it.
