it came unscrewed fine from the 2bbl Holley (teflon tape) and the freakin thing is welded (not literally) to the insert that goes into the fuel line and then threads into the filter (no teflon tape). The hex nut on the thing wasn't great to begin with and now is completely stripped (didn't even budge after I sprayed it w/ lube). Put the old filter back, but still want to replace it. Im I could figure this one out w/ a trip to the store or two, but if anyone knew what part I need and where to get it right off the top of their head that would be awesome. Thanks in adv.

need vise grips and a line wrench to get the line off the filter.........some penetrating oil helpful too

Ah, mine are metal ones from Advance. Still cheap tho, like $10 each. They don't have the interchangeable plastic fittings for the lines though. The end caps on mine are metal and the cap and line nipple are a one piece thing. I've seen the other kind that have a plastic nipple for the fuel hose connection tho.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).
