Factory Aux Gauges in an '86?

So I occasionally have seen the factory oil/water/amp gauges in the '88-'91 P72's. Well, I am cruising eBay and I spot an '86 Police car with what appears to be factory gauges. They look slightly different than the newer style.

Think these were factory or added later?

Factory, I saw a set at the swap meet but didn't want to give the 25 bux for em. Damn that model is stripped down, no radio or clock. Thats the boxman special right there.

holy crap - a radio delete plate! thats got custom panel written all over it.

They might have had sligthly different gauges in 79-89 boxes but they all looked basicly like that

He did a second rate resto, as the grill is 79-81 style.

I haven't found a radio delete plate yet. That's the second one I've seen tho.

The set I sold Cablemang looked a little different. They were VDO guages that had a vertical sweep instead of the standard left-right. The insert also looked slightly different. It was probably a situation where multiple suppliers made the guage packages so cars got whatever was on hand. Probably a dealer installed item anyway.

they have a radio delete panel for the cobra R I wonder if that would fit since the coin/glasses spot is under the radio and the radio is the same size.Or you could make one it's easy and cheap and it wont have to be cheap plastic neither!
