breather question

Hi dose anyone know what this tube is for right in front of the snorko, just wondering beacuse its torn open and im dont know if its important,

That's not the original air filter assembly. That's off a Mustang or Capri, or possibly a custom made replica.

Where does the hose go?

ya i made it my self, but that tube has always been there.

i dont know the hoze just goes down to the front corner and i cant trace it from there..

That may be the PVC tube.

thats for your old school fuel evap canister - that hose should go down under the battery to a plastice box.
older ones didnt use a valve, they just sucked on it through the air cleaner through that hose. my 77 was like that. No computer controlled evap jibba jabba.
Worst harm it will do is make a smell.
