    Cold knock

Sup guys Figure ill finnaly throw this out there. When my car is cold in the morning she will have abit of noise going on i always thought it was coming from the top end of the motor so never really thought about it. Put my head in the wheel well and yup its down there.

Makes awhole bunch of odd knocking sounds when shes cold. Give it 2 minutes it will go away. She runs awsome. great on gas. Doesnt burn/leak a drop of oil. 135k miles. Is it just getting tired? I only run castrol gtx 10w30 in her. she will need a tuneup soon but im not sure if this has anything to do with it

Normal for a worn out 302. Put a qt. of lucas in next oil change, with some 10w40. I'd say 20w50 but it's gonna get cold soon..might be too thick.

Yep normal. Probably piston slap. Mine did it for years and after many performance upgrades ran better than ever. At least untill it blew a freeze plug on the express way and cooked the motor.
