He's got a 4bbl and an MSD box. No spark retard or computer mess involved. The EFI parts were removed months ago and have been since sacrificed to the graveyard known only as Skip's scrap pile.

Nate, is it in 3 or OD at that speed? Do you still have all 4 gears? They won't kick into overdrive at or near WOT either, so its possible its winding out as much as its gonna with the current carb tune.

My bad. Loosing it working to hard. Regardless I will do it but most likely on a dual quad setup might not work on a single. Havent designed my linkage yet.

Whats been done to your engine. Hyd rollers dont go much over 6000 because eof there weight and lower spring pressures than solid rollers. A 302 should see 6 though.

He has a mild cam and flat tappet hydraulic lifters. Its not a radical motor but it runs real strong. I've driven it, but never over like 60 mph, so I'm not sure what it does when its pushed. I know at cruise speeds it goes.

That kid you put up above is for the Holley carb with an AOD? I thought that was needed to get the geometry right.

The geometry appears correct on my 1406 and Lokar combination.
