    blower switch

    Dear Gurus,
My blower won't work when the switch is on the max (highest) position on either Max cool or cool. Works fine on the lower settings. What's up?

could be the fan blower resistor is bad. Follow the wires from the blower to a little bolted into the firewall - thats it. remove and inspect the coils

Make sure the socket isn't melted and the connections are good too.

Pull the switch out of the dash and check. Mine melted cear off. It's a problem with these switches. Not a design deffect as they have lasted for 20 years before cooking, but non-the-less, a common problem.
