    Gapping Plugs?

Gotta gap some motorcraft plugs for my windsor. Suggestions as to gap and are those disc guages they sell at checkout at the parts stores the way to go? Props in adv.

The plug gap for the 351W is .050 according to my chilton shop manual, advance auto allways has the round 50cent piece looking disc gauges right at the counter. That's what I've allways used and have never had any probs.

Any reason to gap em more or less than .050?

Not really. I think factory range is like .048-.052. Some people say that if you have a hotter coil, opening the gap gets you more power. I've tried it and notice nothing. Engine runs and performs no different at .055 than it did at .050. Might as well just gap it at the factory setting.
