I was just woundering What type of engine oil and transmission oil you guys use

For engine oil I use proline 10w 30 and motorcraft dexron 3 for tranny oil

what do you guys use

Motorcraft brand 10-30 and Whatever brand of Type F I can find, currently NAPA brand.

Cexron/MerconIII is the spec fluid for an AOD, the 4R70W requires Mercon V. Mercon V in an AOD wont hurt anything but your wallet (~$4 a qt.)

walmart synthetic 10w-30 usually, but currently valvoline max life (on sale, $7.50 for 5 quarts). Motorcraft filters that I got real cheap ($1.50). The trans has Walmart Dexron 3 in it.

I haven't messed with any trans fluid yet(only 9,000 miles on the trans)
