    Driver's side windshield wiper debacle fix

    I threw away a good wiper because of this but basically I had a consistent spot that was missed on the windshield when the driver's side wipers was on. It was right in the middle of the wiper blade.

    After playing around and research, I bent the arm itself (the part closer towards where the blade attached to) more towards the windshield and wouldn't you know it doesn't miss the spot anymore

    yup. Same problem with the aero and the whale. Never had that issue with the box though.

      I did read somewhere that you could buy a new spring or arm for the wipers. Figure this could be the cheaper way out

        New wiper arm didn't help for me. I still had to bend the arm down a bit.

          I replaced both arms on mine. The springs were weak and the blades would chatter across the glass no matter what I did with it. I think the new ones were around 20 bucks per. I got them from Advance. I guess you could do the spring if you wanted to, but it seems like it would be liable to fly out and vanish, and frankly I didn't feel like fighting with the thing.
