One more question regarding oil filters. Are there any extended capacity oil filters available for the 4.6?

Found a write up for the gear replacement that doesn't require membership to see: http://www.lincolnsonline.com/tech/00314.html
And if you have rear end noise... you'll have to check the axles/bearings for wear. If the noise is present, something needs replacing. Just putting in new gear oil will not help.
