keyless entry module replacement?

How hard is it to change the module in the door?

Do you have to reset anything other than the transmitters and codes?

You dont have to change the codes at all, but I don't know where the plug in is for it, we just cut the wires off of the new one and spliced it into the old wires.

I think crown vic/gm door are the easiest door to get apart, couple screws, and they slide straight up and out once you fish the door lever-opener handle thing thru, with a slight angle, while holding the lever in the open position.
IIRC there is one hidden behing the handle cover, which pops off, one under the switch panel, and 1 or 2 on the bottom of the panel.

Changing module was easy, key fobs still don't program.
I have seen TSB on an antenna that may come loose.
Anyone know where it is located?
