Great writeup.
A couple things to note:
-On most later panthers, there's no need to rotate the carrier to slide the pin out, as it will come out in either direction.
-Repair bearings tend to leak, so they are only a short term solution. Make sure to keep an eye on your gear oil level if you use them.
-If you absolutely cannot get a bearing driver to install the new bearings, the old bearings will work, but be careful with your fingers.
Not trying to be critical-just throwing in my 2 cents.:worship: Aeros r00l.

Thanks for the heads up on the repair bearings. I am using them for a short-term soulution until I build up an 8.8 to swap in. I have a Trac-Loc diff, with 3.73s and my housing is pretty rusty and looks like crap so I don't really want to put the new parts into it. I will be rebuilding the whole thing, from seal to seal, diff housing, gears, the whole shebang. Possibly a girdle but I'm going to have to save money for a driveshaft, forced tailshaft lube mod, extended taishaft, etc., etc.My car is a Shelby SVT Cobra GT Boss Grand Marquis Type R
