axle code for an 08

Hi,

I would like to know what axle code 25 stands for on an 08. I checked the service manual and it says 27 = 3.27 open 55 = 3.55 locker. It does not say anything about a 25. That is the code on the door sticker.

X5=3.27 trac loc
Z5=3.27 open
C6=3.55 trac loc

58=2.73 no traction control
C8=2.73 with traction control

To guess, if it was a typo, Z5 or 58. Ya rolls the dice, you takes your chances. =-)

[25 = ford ranger 3.27 open. Might have been an axle destined for ranger use originally. Or, just a typo.]
