    Air ride question

I have a 1997 crown vic with coils all the way around. I'm wanting to bag the front and back so it'll lay as far as I can get it to go but still be able to raise it up to go over speed bumps haha. I think I'm going to use the kit from airbagit.com what do you guys think? This will be my first bagging project ever. Any threads I could be pointed too for help? Or sites?

I did put the factory bags in the back of my wagon and it was a good upgrade. It was an easy install with a few modification Like you will do the front too in a bit and am trying to figure out what bags to use. It will probably be the AIR LIFT 58616 Dominator D2600 or D2500. I can make up most of the parts so dint need a kit. What are you planning to use for bags??

I don't really think anyone here has done much with air springs outside of boring factory rear air stuff. I'd love proper 4 wheel air suspension, but it would be plumbed into a stock controller for auto-level functions rather than manual control if I were to do it. Unfortunately none of these came from the factory with front air, so the controller would have to come from something else.

The only thing remotely close to being a stock system would be the Mark VIII system. It had 4 wheel air ride. But if you want manual control, it's gonna have to be all custom. Running all the plumbing will be "fun". I know nothing about air ride, but I'm definitely interested in what anyone finds about availability of front bags since that's a coil over shock setup already. I've not seen anything that resembles an air spring over shock setup.

The only kit I know of that's not custom is airbagit.

Can you provide a link to the kit in question, or at least a part #? Is it this one here:

The important question here is does this kit include the relocation bracketry for the front shocks? If you check the instructions PDF it does show a picture of what those could look like, however the main picture of the kit does not show them - does that mean you buy them separate, or you have to custom make them yourself?

I know right?! But if it solves the shocks problem... Fabrication isn't cheap either, for someone who's generally the DIY type but not DIY enough to be able to whip up some shock relocators these may be a feasible option.
