    Air Ride modification

Anyone "souped" up there air ride?
    Haven't found to much info...
Was thinking it would be a cool feature when I haul stuff with my 98 Whale (already have a tranny cooler)...and to play arounf with the ride quality as well...got stiff springs in front and KYBs all around

This website I found to be ridiculous but gives a starting point:

Anyone got any better links or have modded the air ride?

Interesting...looks like most conversions have been to coil springs.

Looks like one could do this:

and have an on-board cabin control here:

AFAIK, the only thing short of a custom system would be using airbags with different ratings. I read something along the lines of airbags for limos providing a stiffer ride, but that's about the extent of my knowledge on changing the system. I've never seen anything about a custom system in a Panther, so you might be charting new territory.

Wonder since this would be controllable from the cabin; one would need to finagle the relay that automatically self adjusts with the load....

If you put the valves inside and have a tire compressor handy... it can be controlled from inside. Otherwise... get a controller for it and tie the power relay's coil to the hot-in-run circuit so it won't drain out the battery.

          some rig like this:

single compressor... dual valves... controls the springs individually. Since the controller works on vehicle level and not pressures, different ratings per corner are not an issue.

No clue how you would go about fitting air ride up front though. I don't know of any bag-over-shock style setups.
