    HELP with my 1" Lift

I gotta ask. I'm wanting to lift Mz Perl 1" to stop the rubbing of her 22" wheels. I bought coil spring spacers (1" for the rear, .5" for the front) but from what I'm used to, it aint working. I'm trying to compress the spring & remove the shock absorber but the MacPherson coil spring compressor I have won't fit. These coil springs are pretty small. Any suggestions? I have her on jack stands right now and I'm basically at a stand still.

remove the shock and use a standard coil compressor.

    this is assuming it's a 92-02 vehicle. 03+ I have no clue.

Has ANYONE put any type of lift on the front of a 2003-2011 Marq? The spacers I bought were from Summit Racing which said they fit a 2003 but they clearly don't. They are WAY too big. Mz. Perl is in a million pieces in my garage and I hate to see her looking like that. Has anyone EVER bought coil spacers for the front of a 2003-2011 Grand Marquis? Could you PLEASE point me in the right direction. It seems like this part is non-existent. I'm desperate!

      btw...she's a 2005.

from a quick google search, it looks like the spacer up front goes between the strut and the tower mount, not on the spring itself.

that's just one kit though, can you post a link to what you bought?
