    Posi Rear End Suggestions!

Can anyone recommend a certain brand or type? I've heard of Eaton and that brand seems pretty popular, but i want to be sure before i buy!

What are you doing with it? What is your vehicle about?

The regular ford posi is good for basic use. It is the same in the wagon and the Marauder and the Mustangs. If you have something special under the hood then if you post up the details someone more into high end stuff may be able to help you out.

Yeah most people just install the factory Ford 'trac-lok' setup. It works well for all but pure drag cars.

I've heard and seen mixed results with the Detroit True-Track. I think both mrltd and Blaze had one fail in a fairly short time, though I remember both said it was awesome until it blew up. My original traction lock needed a rebuild desperately when I got the car, but with new clutches its still in the car and working fine 27 years after it left the factory.

+1 trac-lok. when they stop working, they just work like an open diff until you replace the clutches and s-spring. and when they do work... they spin BOTH tires in a well mannered way. It's very easy to control (this coming from a guy that drives digitally when he does these things - full wot or nothing - I know next to nothing about feathering the throttle).
