    2004 Power Steering Leak

    Hey All -

I have been stumped for a few days now trying to find out exactly what I need to buy to fix this power steering leak. A few months ago, I had to replace the high pressure line, a few days later, the sensor went and started leaking.. Now after replacing those 2 components, I have yet another leak. Attached is a picture showing where its leaking from. Its on the steering rack, but I cant figure out what exactly I need to buy and some insight would be nice.

    Thanks much!

That cap IIRC is what covers the adjustment nut for the rack. I'd say pop the cap off and see if you can look inside and find the seal. Probably just an o-ring or something.
These are highly engineered precision vehicles, the first step in diagnosing the problem is to strike the suspected offending part sharply and repeatedly with a blunt object, then re-test.

+1 on the "remove the cap and check the o-ring".
